Festival Season in Kerry

Festival Season is kicking off in Kerry, with a number of high profile and entertaining festivals on throughout the county throughout the Summer. Killarneys May Racing Festival kicks off next Sunday the 11th of May, with the Sneem JFK 50 Mile Challenge, Listowel Writers Week, Ireland Bike Fest in Killarney and K-Fest in Killorglin all taking place in May. Some of the more local festivals to take place during the Summer, include Valentia Island King Scallop Festival, from 12th to 13th of July,  which will celebrate local fresh seafood, with loads of family entertainment and food based events.
